Okay, this is a weird one.

For those who have not changed their battery terminal (+) the positive one has that little grouping of 4 white wires. Well, I changed my battery terminal. So, I have a 4 gauge wire that runs my audio, a 4 gauge wire that runs to the alternator and a 4 gauge wire that runs to a distribution bloxk. the distribution block then conencts to those 4 white wires. I hope this still makes sense.

Well, i was headed home form work last week whe nteh car started acting funny. I get home, pop theh ood and lo and behold, those 4 white wires have melted into one big gooey bunch of wire.

Anyone know why or have any idea where they go so I can re-run them? thanks.

is your battery tied down good, it may have jumped and hit the hood?

a ground somewhere touched the positive, check for black marks on anything metal.

I know what wires you are talking about...have fun replacing them, if I remember correctly they take quite a journey through the engine bay?

NICE!

no black marks on anything. It jsut looks like they got hot and melted.
