well just when i thought my car was getting better, it broke on me on the way up to go skating i got it back up and running just by turning it back on, but i dont want it to happen anymore.
can it be because it is overheating?
im changing the thermostat tomorrow morning.
any other ideas----i got more toward home walked into my g/f's work had smoke barellin out the hood when i came back out opened the hood the lil coolant resovior was bubblein like crazy WHY IS IT GETTING THAT HOT :cuss

also when i get on it my car sputters it never did this till after i did a compression test so whats up im thinkin maybe plugs but are they bad because they were FINE before i did it

Was the compression normal when you did the test?

he had 148 138 148 148 I believe he said.

Oil spooging out at the shootout the one time.. and coolant problems..

Thats pretty low for a 2g. I'd do another test and see if its got worse and then do a wet test to rule out the piston rings but I'd guess headgasket since they're equally bad.
