I moved back home a few months ago, and I am in desperate need to move back out. I have been considering living alone, but it would be nice/cheaper to live with someone else. I was just wondering if anyone is looking to move out soon, or knows of anyone in need of a roomate. Guy or girl would work... but no creeps or perverts please :D Also, if you know of any cheap but nice apartments around town let me know as well.

Also, I have a dog and a cat that you would have to deal with :thumb

Thanks guys. :beer

all about location. most places in powell are rather expensive just b/c its powell. thats only a smidge less than my mortage, but at least its a condo and hes building equity. you guys never know, this could be a 15 yr mortage on that condo, maybe the dudes paying it off quick. doubtful but it certainly could happen. you can move in w/ us ash. i need someone in the house that is into cars, the wifey surely isn't. and you can spend as much time babysitting as you want :)

Ouch! 900 per month? it sounds like he is renting it, not buying it from that original post (includes rent & utilities).

My mortgage payment (30 year) is only 855 per month. And that is 3 bedrooms 1.5 baths 2 car attached garage.... and that is principal + interest + property tax + insurance in that payment.

Well, if i new you I would say you can come kick it at my house. Not a bad place. 2 story farm house on 3 acres ... just east of Pickerington. Nothing special. Just me and a buddy of mine that i may kick out if i catch him smoking in there again. I have 3 cats..so a dog and cat is cool too. Rent... ?? hmm... house is paid for. (i am 22 and have a house)... :beer pervert?? no.. don't think i have been called that before. Anyways... if you want you can meet up with me sometime..

A lot of condos, you only have a mortgage for 5-10 years, maybe more depending on where you have it. The ex and I were looking at buying one a while back, literally right next door to Jamie at the time (well, directly behind his garages), and it was going to cost us about $1000/mo for 5 years. That included the condo community fees, but not utilities. After 5 years, I forget what the condo fees were, but it wasn't bad.

I have a 2 bedroom condo in Powell I rent out for $770 a month. It's very nice new carpet, paint, and very nice wood work all through. I also have a condo on the West side I rent for $850. Nice view of the pond and 2500 sq feet. These are both going to be open around May 12th or so! I have a house in Hilliard but it wont be open until Aug $1675 a month, very nice great area! Let me know. I would let you move in with me if you want. I have a dog and extra room. I live by Tuttle now, moved into the new place behind the mall. Closer to the Dub Pub :beer

Ashley said she's looking for something "cheap"....the prices some of you are throwing out are not what I think she would call "cheap" or affordable for a single person her age....come on now... :rolleyes

Exactly what Kim said. I mean, I realize I will most likely be looking in a bad area because of my price range, but i'm not looking for a condo or something. I am looking for something cheap just so i can have my dog back. I miss her :(

Ashley, don't settle for bad neighborhoods. It's all about being patient, you can find a nice place in a nice neighborhood for cheap. Our house was cheap for us because we had 6 people that wanted to live near each other, so we decided to move into the same house. $1900/6 people is pretty cheap for the house we have and the neighborhood we are in.

We're splitting up to a few different places after July 1st, and a couple of us may be moving to another house near Cleveland and Main, and it's only $800/mo for 3 of us. You just have to keep an eye out.

There is a place on Broadway (G.C.) that has 2 Bdr townhouses (with basement) for about $550. Good area, and quiet.

i will never again live with a roomie...will be a "mate" or noone at all. who the hell wants to live with a mega clean freak and 2 hyperhypo 80 pound boxers that think kitty clumps o' urine is a treat?

I'll have to agree with that one, had a roomate for 5 years now live by myself so much better. Where I live ain't the best but by far not the worst place one the west side. Rent is around $420's with gas heat paid for.
