Vent Pod.

I went to dsmtrader and got a vent pod for a gag. and Safc it came in the mail yesterday so i take a look at putting it in. Its really just a metal thiing that just fits into the vent tight. but the problem Im having is that there are square blocks on the very sides of the vent (4) of them that are blocking from the afc and the EGT from fitting back into the vent. How do i remove them? Anyone else had this problem

i have heard of that before actually and all the other little things here and there so i figured id make my own to get around everything

haha its all good, I would have made my own but spare time is hard to find these day and knowing me i'd find a way to mess it up. :beer

i just 'ported' the vent out for to fit the afc and guage in the vent. mainly the drivers side plastic screw insert gets in the way, the passenger side was still in there to secure the entire panel to the dash.

i just removed my afc/gauge styling.. and went back to stock vents
if anyone is intersted my vent pod is for sale, $30 takes it

if you can't decipher the difference between a 1g or a 2g interior from a picture... or haven't figured out what generation my rust bucket is

you have other things to worry about besides buying this thing
