I will bring back my compression tester from home. We can hook up monday if you havent tested it by then.
That was MORE than a little coolant :eek :eek

My bro's car it was a warter line to the turbo, the clamp wasnt tight enough and it leaked a little.

deffinately a HG with your problems then.
180 is too high hehe but 130 is LOW and possible with a blown hg.
A new HG is in your future :thumb

Wouldn't 175-180PSI be in order for a 2G 8.51 pistons ??

hmm then...
I would guess hg still maybe
OR.... because you have NOT changed your thermostat yet and you had complained previously of problems heh.
Change it.. if its not opening.. it could cause it to boil over because the coolant ISNT moving to get cooled
Does the coolant smell like exhaust (in the radiator)? Was it boiling over from the fill cap?
A compression test does not always show a head gasket failure, a small leak will still allow the engine to build a correct amount of compression. The only way to check for sure if it is a head gasket is to do a leak-down test.
A ghetto way to do a leak down is just to put 100-150psi of compressed air in the cylinders (a air hose will clip right on to the end of most compression tester lines) and listen for air leaking, look in the radiator and see if its bubbling etc etc..

simple things to check when you are overheating.....
are your fans even turning on? might want to consider hardwiring them.
sometimes when people install TT's, they catch the wrong acc. wire and the fans do not turn on when timing either.
just a few thoughts
