vs. Turbo VTEC

So, I'm rolling around minding my own business when I glance up in the mirror and see a front mount headed my way ;) Fate put us side by side at the next light and friendly words are exhanged. I ask him what he runs at the track and his trap speed is right on with mine. He states that I'll waste him from a dig, so we agree to a slow roll.

Then the light changes. I get the signal at about 5-10 and we're off. His external dump sounds nice, but the squeeling tires going to second followed by what sounded like a missed gear called for a do-over.

Round 2: This time was from a 40 punch. We're both in second and side by side--me by maybe 1/4 car, but neither gaining on the other from my POV. We both shift to third at the same time and he's inching on me, but can't make up the difference. He shuts down and I follow suit.

We meet again at the next light, thank one another for the fun encounter and go our separate ways. I then look down and notice my A/C was still on :bash

I agree, Rich. Yeah, he's got a Honda. Is it riced out, no. Why hate on someone who enjoys their car and works hard on it. My opinion, if he had it lowered, widebody kit, shopping cart wing, one windshield wiper, multi-color paintjob, running 19's and talking smack, then yeah, hate on him. But it's a clean looking, fairly quick car. What's wrong with that?

Yea that is A.J. from slowmotions car club. He pretty much built that car from scratch and is only running 6 psi due to a stock clutch. Definetly a clean car but still no dsm. ALso, last time i heard his integra is an LS.. it doesn't have vtec.

Hey guys whats, up-- I appreciate the props that some of you are giving me. I love dsm's (i almost bought one), but i also love my integra too much to give her away. Little background on the setup-- i'm only running 6psi, because i can't afford someone to tune it to 10psi, end of story, no excuses. I have no excuses for the race, i was gaining on it a little bit, i mean-- of course he's going to jump a car or two on me, when i tell him to go, and i'll just go after he does ;)!! I can't wait to see these cars heavily modded. But by no-means is my car an Evo. I have a turbo-- that is it, no crazy suspension, NO AC. It was a great race, Jamie-- you are more than cool in my book, great car, great guy :beer -- nice to meet ya! Thank god we didn't go from a dig :bow

Nice-- well, everyone on the board can own me now. I'm NA!!! Also then i was running 6 psi, and the end of my teggy's days I was running 9psi, and fully tuned. Which would still mean me > your evo. :booty Just kidding around brotha!
