Looks good. Is The Grateful Dead sponsoring him? Or am I crazy, and just think it looks like Jerry Garcia? (I've been listening to a lot of Dead lately, so it's on the brain)

Jim has went a 4.75 @ 327 MPH that was just a couple races ago and landed him a #2 qualifying spot. We just need to make it past 1st round and then he will go some rounds :)

I'd be grateful for some head. Haven't gott...... wait... tangent...

It looks great, I'd love to see a hometown guy start winning some races, make up some of the millions he has to have invested in all this, what with no major sponsor. Then we need Chuck Cheeseman to move up and be up there too. Would be sweet to see Head vs. Cheeseman in a final. Neighbors running for the win. :)

I couldn't agree more :) He has raced with his own money for years and we all know how much it takes to race one of these cars for a season....

Did anyone get a chance to catch NHRA on TV this weekend?

Well Jim Head actualy did real well making it to the semi's and losing to Gary Selzi by a car length.

Dad called yesterday and told me that they only burnt 2 pistons all weekend and on there semi final round loss they only had 45 min to service the motor and get back up to the line for incoming storm that was runnin in. Anyway they didnt even get a chance to warm the car up and still ran 4.83 at 315....none the less a good weekend for the self ran Jim Head racing team thumbs up guys ;)
