I have a 86 Mercedes Benz 420 SEL with 278500 miles. Its grey exterior with grey leather interior with wood grain. V8 with Auto trans. Cruise, PS, PW, PL, ABS, SRS, PM, full size spare, Sony CD player, Whistler remote radar detector, TONS OF ROOM.
I've only had the car for a few days and I don't need it so its for sale.
Heres the low down on it: Sunroof leaks due to seal being old. If its not down it will leak. Sunroof works manually, but motor has problem.
Blower motor is tempermental, works sometimes, was told the fuse had something to do with it. The setting is on hot, so it gets toasty if the windows are not down. Driver door handle needs a pin on the lever, it opens but it needs a pin to be right. Needs front pads installed, have the pads but have not put them on. Has rust on both front fenders about the size of a softball, plus some on the front bumper. Small spot of rust on passenger door. Paint is not to bad for a 21 year old car. Engine runs great and trans shifts great also. Passenger front rim has a small bend in it but whoever buys it will probalby put some big chromes on it anyway. Interior is clean with some stains on the floor mats that could be scrubbed out. The dash has 3 cracks in it (could be fixed with dash fix vinyl) and the passenger seat has a crack. The glass for the passenger side mirror is gone (Besslers has one).
Other than those things, which isn't alot for someone to fix over a weekend or even a day if someone is motivated enough, its a great car. TONS of room in it.
Asking $2000 OBO. NO SUPER LOW BALLERS but you may try and be surprised, like I said, I don't need it and its in my way.
