Well i'm brainstorming my suspension. When I get some more paychecks in the bank I want to do my suspension all at once. Here's my idea's so far. Want your opinions and help.
1. Front Upper/Rear Upper Strut bars
2. Ground Control Coilovers (Or any coilovers for that matter)

Now do you recommend getting shocks and struts or what. This is where i'm lost at. Any help will be appreciated.

Ebay adds up to be about $600 or so with the shocks and struts. Sounds like a good deal to me.

honestly though, it would be the best 1400 u would spend on your car -- and u can get them cheaper than that too -- ask jarod, he has some on his car and loves them :thumb

there is nothing wrong with Ground controls ppl just liek teins caused there over priced :p but serisouly if your gonna go with the ground controls get tociko illuminas they are very very nice as far as upper strut tower bars go get nothing but RRE for your car..do not cheap out on the strut tower bars... the chrome ones look purty but thatsa bout it.. also an upgrade to sway bars isnt a bad idea either

- RRE strut bars, lower stress bar and if you beg enough, they *MIGHT* let you buy their 3-point front strut bar that mounts to the firewall also.

- RRE rear sway bar with stock front. Don't forget to replace the front sway bar bushings with polyurethane.

- RRE-tuned JIC/TEIN (don't remember which one they have, I think it's JIC, CMIIW).

With this kind of combination, the car will be very willing to rotate on a mere drop of the throttle. Trail braking will cause the car to rotate even quicker. You will need to learn how to drive the car with this kind of set up. Driving in the rain can be super fun *OR* it can become a curse.

Tein Super Street's and I love them, and I dont know where you are getting the $1400 price tag at unless your are looking the the edfc or whatever its called. The MSRP on mine was $1k and I got them for half that shipped in perfect condition, I got very lucky though. Its all gonna depend on how far you wanna go with it.

If you go with the GCC, you can get the Eibach Racing Springs (ERS) which are designed to go with whatever shock you choose. I had the GCC/ERS setup with Tokico Illumina 5-ways and loved them. 5 was just a little harder than stock and 1 shook out a kidney on the Ohio *ahem* roads.

I do see cheaper coil over adjustable kits around which would probably work just as well with the ERS and save a bit of $$

I am an example of why you should NOT skimp on suspension.

I bought a skunk2 coil over set of the trader and installed them with tokico blues. The price was about $400 for the combo and my ride is adjustable however, said ride could not be much less comfortable. Non freeway driving is fine but in places that the ODOT workers of ohio decided that it was ok to make an overpass 3 inches higher than the rest of the freeway if only a small launch ramp was made up to the overpass.

The car lauches up and dives back down followed by some ocean lineresque bouncing on these fun trips. Is it the shox, are the spring rates wrong? I have no idea but I wish I had just gotten real coilovers in the beginning.

The shocks *should* control the bounce, but if the springs are waay off then they might just be too much for the shocks. The blue's are not adjustable correct?

correct...the Illuminas (white ones) are adjustable
