I have an Evo 9 SE with the diamond black BBS rims on it and I need to replace one after a friend of mine clipped a curb when driving it. Does anyone know where to buy replacement OEM rims?

Introduce yourself in the newbie forums first.

In any case, my name is Jim and I live in Reynoldsburg and bought a Silver IX SE.

Too damn much!

Why not try evolutionm.net?

How much damage was done to the rim? Rims can be repaired. Here is a local place that will repair rims:

www.wheelmedic.com

Try Evolutionm.com.

Lots of people upgrade their rims and sell them on the site. I might take a little while to find one.

I should have know it was you by the user name, duh!

It wasn't a friend that I might know was it? If it was you know who then you should make him pay for it. :)

Yes Shad, it was the friend you know. You only really needed one guess right? :) Very first curb that he went around, he clipped it.

I just got the OEM price for it... $796.52! :eek

It wasn't terribly damaged. The curb just "dented" part of the very edge in various places around about 1/3 of the rim.

I'll have to call that place and see if they can fix it. I'd feel kinda bad making my best friend buy me a new $800 wheel.
