is this a good idea, or bad idea? they are gold line springs, guy is asking 50 bucks for them, good idea, bad idea, thats the question, cuz i have never heard of these springs before....

You will regret it. My sportlines are 1.8 so basically the same. Slowing down to go over speedbumps to the point of almost stopping is just gay. A 1.2-1.5" drop still looks nice on our car, I had the goldlines and the stress of the drop busted my shocks. I then had to buy Kyb's. Just fyi, i say pass on it.

thanks, i think i'm not looking for that much of a drop, i just want a smaller one, like what you suggested, but, i think i'll have different shocks then too, that way i can upgrade the whole suspension..... but thanks for the advise

although i could buy them for cheap, and then sell them on ebay :) who knows lol
