Anyone know a good place to get a HO alternator for a 420A?

roughly 11000 watts of pure insanity is the plan. I found a place on the internet. Soon to be ordering 6 Optima Yellow top batteries and 2 300 amp alternators. $678 each batteries are about $150 each.

call or pm JayDogg, hes the manager of stereo limited. this dude has crazy plans for his n/t to turn it into a window shattering machine. i heard just one 12" version of the speak hes putting in there and it was totally deafening in a large room, can't imagine what 2 of the 13" will do in his little hatch back. wow. anywho, i'm sure he could lead you in the right direction hes the manager of the one in canal winchester

Been there and talked to him a couple of days ago. It will be nice when he gets done with it. I am going in there to watch some of the install this summer when he brings it to the shop.

Im a huge fan of mobile audio/video...but 11,000 watts is just insane. Is this going to be installed in a daily driver or all out competition car?

comp car. Want to get an EVO for a daily driver if I have anything to say about it. Im married so I think I have very little to say about it. :bow

Jaydogg is a pretty good friend of mine. He used to have 12, 12's in his ride...that was sick. The stuff going in now is crazy loud too. I am doing 4 or 6 12's (JL W0's) in my eclipse. I had 3 in there before and that was loud, but 11,000...shheeww. I want to see that when it is done. that is going to be insane, but nice!! :beer

I am thinking 4 Kicker Solo X 12's with 2500 watts each!!! Also 4 - 6.5 component sets with 125 watts each!!!

well if u all saw my old system in my car or my old pictures....they used to be on the site (but not in the members section any more).... i had (12) jl audio 12w3's w/ over 25,000 watts RMS.. was hitting a 165db and i was a world record holder..etc... i had 6 batteries in it all run off the stock alternator. i had no problems.... if i were you i would wait till you have the batteries and system installed before you sunk $700 + into a high output alternator.
