Does anyone know if there is a way to determine a 2100 plate from a 2600 plate visually?

Off memory, the 2600 should have shorter length "fingers" than the 2100.

Mikes 2600 and 2100 looked different

I have no idea how to describe it tho... :D

The middles of the plate look different.

2100 is nice and smooth
2600 seems to have weld instead of a smooth hump like the 2100

Do you have one you need looked at? I could tell ya. Ide base the info off what I seen when Mikes were sitting next to eachother

The thickness of the fingers is different. The 2100 is approximately 1/8" thick while a 2600 is pushing 1/4".

The thickness of the fingers is 3/16". Is that close enough to 1/4" to assume its a 2600? The number stamped on it is B009407. I can't find any documentation on ACTs website as to what this represents. Its most likely a 2600 but I'd like to know for sure if anyone knows.

Look on the underside of the fingers (the side that faces the clutch/flywheel). I remember seeing a number engraved on one of them--MB-010X is what you're looking for with the 2600. No X would mean 2100.

There is nothing printed on the flywheel side of the pressure plate. At least nothing I can see now, maybe when it was new.

Clarification: on the black fingers, not the pressure plate surface itself. It's engraved/stamped and is hard to notice with just a glance.

Jamie,

Thanks for the help. It was printed on the fingers, just really hard to see. It is indeed the X suffix which indicates the 2600. Thanks again.
