Carmax experience?

Anyone here ever sold a car to carmax? Just looking to hear about any personal experiences with them.

I'm looking to sell my truck, but it's older and has high mileage. I'm wondering if they would even consider it, or if they would even come close to offering what it's worth.

They wont give you close to what it's worth... to you anyways.

i work at a dealership and sometimes they give you more, sometimes less. it really depends. like our finance manager sold her denali to them for more than anyone in town would. but ive heard less too (i dont know myself ive never been there).
