I only need it to hold up to about 10% over stock. The rest is going into suspension ;)

Stas, I'll need you to be available to haul a very large water tank and hose to every auto-x event in case it doesn't rain :freak

With that fancy new dual-clutch tranny, is it going to be exotic and expensive to fix like the ones for the 3000GT's? Will they have to be shipped back to Japan or some other country? Or will they be throwaway trannies like (I've heard) that VW has created?

It depends on whos making it. If Mitsu has outsourced the deal (like Getrag w/ the 3K/S tranny), then parts may not be available and the VW scenario may take place. Otherwise, parts and service should be available stateside.
