volts once again

well my volts dont stay constantly at......20 anymore they go between 20.2 and about 13.4 once it goes above 17.7v my lights get VERY bright and the lights that are stuck on in the gauge cluster( battery light,coolant level, and e-brake -sometimes anti-lock) go off along with my radio turning off

i notice a big increase in voltage usually when accelerating but sometimes it just jumps around


those lights that stay on sometimes flicker on and off also weather its with or without a voltage increase/decrease

I nearly killed myself doing 120 for an hour with my optima bulging.....get that alternator OUT of your car asap before you fry your electrical system...you might as well pull the battery now too..you have made it officially FUCKED.
