The Evo got smoked.

Granted I had an extra passenger, but it wasn't even close.

I shrugged the kid off when he revved thinking that it wouldnt even be close... and it wasnt, but I wasnt expecting to be the one behind.

IT wasnt much of a race...

I was going 80 already, he didnt want to slow down or honk. He had the go all 3 times but I couldnt hang let alone catch up. I gave up by 90mph.

Aren't those cars 3.0L and turbo-charged? Isn't that like 50% more displacement?

Time to buy a diesel Jetta. If you can't go faster then go slower and get 50mpg on the highway at 65mph. The winner is the one who runs out of money last.

Its actually a 3.0 twin turbo! They have twin KKK04's the same as on the VW 1.8t Golf GTI. It only runs a 14 in the quarter due to its weight. I raced one @ trails and it ran a 14.1 @ 116 and I ran 13.6 @ 101. It was a close race. But Im sure once those small little hairdriers spool on the freeway its over 100% ! :finger BMW = Over priced kraut.

I drove an Auto in Vegas, and a 6 speed in LA this year-they are VERY underrated, and a shit ton of fun with the traction control off. It hazes 1st on command from a roll, and spins through 2nd if you power shift.

I Murdered a WRX, Legacy GT, S2000, several Honda's, unkown Camaro, and a goldwing on the way back from LA.

My buddy just got a 335 AWD Coupe, bitch is pretty bad ass.

Although I think I would have rather saved some weight and went RWD. He just cares about snow driving because his G35 didn't go anywhere.

Yes, it's a turbo model.

AWD is available in the coupe this year... :D

White coupe, Cinnamon-Red interior. We were thrashing around in it Thursday night actually.
