The following photographs show internals of the APEXi S-AFC. If you have ever accidentally yanked the cord out of one, these photos will show where everything is connected and what parts you will find inside the case.
In the 2nd photo, the small circuit board simply lifts off of the lower one. The only thing holding it in place was 2 screws from the case and that little white rectangular socket which you see in the upper right-hand part of the smaller circuit board.
The last photo shows a partial view of the larger circuit board on the end near where the 10-wire cable comes into the box.
