If you want to insert pictures in the middle of a Tech Article then you need to create a Topic in the following section:

And attach the images to it.

Then you right-click on the images to get the link information to use in your tech article.

If you want to put 2 pictures next to each other with some spaces between them than you need to put periods (not spaces) between them and then color them the same color as the background. Otherwise, vBulletin will delete your extra spaces. The light gray color used in these forums is #555555.
