OK, hopefully someone can help me out and just confirm I'm right. I'm trying to find a headlight kit for my motorcycle, but finding out what size bulb I need is insanely difficult looking online. I finally think I found the right info.

My problem is I don't have the wiring for the headlights, as it was destroyed when I crashed. So, after searching and searching I'm thinking an aftermarket HID kit is going to be the way to go. So now to the stupid question. H4 is H4, right? There's not an H4 size for cars and an H4 size for motorcycles, is there? Seems to me it would be totally stupid to make them different even though their "size" is the same, but god knows the strange things I've run into on this bike, I don't want to end up buying something that won't work.

Hopefully the HIDs will help keep me pretty visible when riding. :)

It's probably the same dimensions, but looks like the motorcycle-specific ones are a touted as heavy duty and/or vibration resistant (i.e. stronger filament).
