I need some help looking around for cams, HKS 264. I know there are a lot of places that offer them but one
of you guys may know of somehwere less expensive. Thought I'd ask.

EVO cams and DSM cams are not interchangeable, so I've been told. Buschur had some in stock last time I checked for someone. HKS lists them as different part numbers

if you're going for cams, get 272's. 264's are a waste of time, everyone that uses 1 of each switches to 272's, and most people that I've been around that have cams say to use the 272's. Same price, more powa!

I'm not sure how proven this statement is on a stock turbo scenario. The EVO's that I've seen so far running 272s have usually been running a bigger turbo. I know Buschur for example has been running the 264s so far in their shop car and thats to an 11.65. Not an exact comparisson but, in a DSM, would you run straight 272s on a 16g?

I have read that the 272's have a ruff idle. I'm not too concerned with that jsut as long as I avoid stalling
which shouldn't be a factor.

I talked with the guys at Quantum and they said HKS has jacked their prices up on cams. Teh Sux ! !

I have a few things here to play with for the time being. Walbro fuel pump, Tein S-Techs. Should have
upgraded fuel pump day one.

John, we gotta make some more tune runs with the new pump. :thumb

Put the fuel pump in around 4 today. Took about
30 minutes. Pretty easy but dumbass me decided to do
this with nearly a full tank of gas. :rolleyes

Call me crazy but I think my car runs a bit leaner now.

John, once again, we need to re-tune this beyotch.
