So where's all the B-ball players at? DQ is contemplating hosting a special event that will be focused on the round ball. Let me know how much interest there is as well as proposed gaming formats. We'll see what we can put together.

There was a pre-season practice today, which involved Mike C eating a tree branch. Other than that they look good. Mikey's ups are impressive.

I'll at least take some pictures.

Point guards don't shoot 3's, 2-guards do. :) I hated when I got moved to point guard in high school, because I didn't get to shoot. My junior year they moved me back to 2-guard, and I shot the lights out. Then I quit because I still hated the coach. Played intramural basketball instead. No coaches, run and gun, much more fun.

Now I don't even play basketball video games. lol

depends what offense you run... with our offense our point gaurd pretty much called the play and 80% of the time it was originated to go to him.

We used to run flex, but we were basically a run and gun team. Rarely did we even get into a set offense, our 1 and 2 men were very fast, so they pushed it down the floor and put up 3's before the defense even got back. On the other teams shot, the 2-man just broke down the floor and set up for the 3, that was pretty much it. It's no wonder we used to score 80-90 points a game in 32 minutes of basketball. lol

Then we got the new coach my junior year who ran 5-out motion, but he was a suck coach that liked to slow it down, hence why I quit. Obviously run and gun was much more fun than slowing the game down. In the first round of the state tournament, our coach decided to run 4 corners with 5 minutes left in the first quarter to slow the game down. Score at the end of the first, 6-3, or something like that. It was un-freaking-believable.

Anyways, I'm done with the OT talk. :)

Thats probably the only thing I am actually good at. I was heavy into basketball ever since I was 7 years old and from 14-19 years old, I had Strength Shoes on everyday. I can handle the ball extreamly well and dare anyone to gaurd me. I do have a Piss you off type of Jumper too...

I'd even put money up for some one on one play...

Not really into Horse tho...
