Hi Guys, Been awhile.

I have a probably dumb question. My car is put up now. I have a nother driver so down time isnt an issue. I am thinking about startign to work on it in my spare time. Now I don't have allot of cash rigth now and allot of other priorities, but I want to get some of this stuff out of the way. I know I could yank the motor out at anytime and just start on it , thats my first question.

If I tear mine apart and start this obviously slow, long and teadious rebuild process what cost would I incure from the begining?

Where can I find a list of parts needed to start this out? I know all are busy with your own projects but if anyone has any ideas or suggestions I open. Downtiem doesnt matter and I don;t care if its down for years. I just want to do it right, and perfect the first time.
I'm pretty nervous about this actually, I have rebuilt motors before but never moddified or turbocharged one. Any advice would be great. Thanks all.

This is all taken from Howell Automovies web site.

Mopar DOHC Cylinder Head Gasket Set $119.95
Mopar Lower Gasket Set 2.0 $59.95
Dayco DOHC Timing Belt $44.95
Mopar Head Bolt Set DOHC $29.95
Clevite 77 Main Bearing Set 2.0 $39.95
Clevite 77 Rod Bearing Set 2.0 $29.95
Eagle 2.0 Connecting Rod (set of 4) $350.00
Hastings Ring Set 2.0/2.4 $79.95
JE 8.5 Compression 2.0 Pistons (set of 4) $499.95
SPEC Stage 3 Modular Clutch Kit (Steel) $549.00

Should I go on. Ok. You may also need a oil pump (go Mopar), timing belt tensioner, water pump, plugs, and wires.

Now that is just a list of parts to rebuild the engine. In order for these parts to work you will need some machine work done.

1. polish or remachine the crank
2. hone or bore out the cylinders
3. port and polish the head (optional)

Ok. Your engine is rebuilt. Now what turbo kit are you going with?
