I have a 96 3000gt and it was involved in a non vehicle accident of sorts. I'm not sure what happened to it but it wasn't smashed like a traditional accident would have but there is deff. damage. When i got the car it came with a body kit but no stock bumpers. So while installing the body kit i couldnt get the (and excuse me if this term is wrong) Rebar to re attach with the front end. I meen it;s like one or the other. Front bumper, or rebar.
So i went with front bumper but when i turn and i'm NOT accelerating i hear a bit of crunchy sound coming front the front end. but looking at the tie rods and CV's they look fine. Boots arent ripped or oozing?.
I wonder if its the missing rebar which is loosing stability causeing the sound?. and if so can this be corrected with a strut bar both lower and upper on teh front?
