I bought this,

shortly after new years.
It had nothing under the hood but wires.
So after piecing it all together, finding almost everything, getting the engine in, trans in,etc. I go to replace the turbo drain gaskets as they are leaking. I find they are stripped. Great.
Fantastic.
So I pull the pan, and find this,

There was so much more silicon i pulled out of the head and the oil pickup.

That and the head bolts being finger tight and the broken mounting ear on the block, have sent me search of yet another short block.
All i wanted was to drive this damn car already.

So, who has a cheap short block(6bolt) I can buy and rebuild?

Im finding these 6 bolt automatic cars all day long where I live for almost nothing that run, think the cheapest ive found is a 91 RST laser for $300,friend has a 91 GST for around 500 that was running until someone played with the wiring.
