short shifter

I just installed my B@M short shifter. and great god, its so awesome. I put it at 50% reduced throw, and its amazing. If someone would do a mod on a 2g this would be a good mod.

My short shifter costs $20 :) The price of a used stock shifter and shortening it was free. 3.5" shorter :)

still...nothing compares to the B&M from what ive seen.
ive had drawn out discussions about it on the cinci board....it shortens the ANGLE at which you throw it (pivot point placement)...not just the length of the rod....big difference

I need to shorten the shaft on my B&M.. I dont like the movement still.

the height of the b"m isnt super short....but that is just an appearance thing.....personally, I couldnt be happier with the throw.

you ever see where some rally cars place their shifter? up HIGH...
im guessing this is to minimize movement fromteh wheel to the shifter and keep it easy....if you think about it...it makes sense if you want to keep both hands on the wheel as much as possible........food for thought

I dont really care about appereance. i more into performance. After putting it in, it just felt really good. A nice short shift.

i have a short shifter on mine as well, its so awesome! i love it.... its like in no time i shift!
