I will celebrate by buying a carton of cigarettes and tossing out butts from my car window all over I-270 as I drive to the office.

But a day's worth of electricity for all my lights on, along with my AC and heat running all day, I don't think I can afford it.

I've got a couple containers of used motor oil, that I was thinking about pouring down the rain gutter. But instead, I'll just pour it all over the neighbors grass, to help his fertilizer out.

You are assuming this society will still exist then. After the cities are nuked, the only thing left behind for anyone to look at will have to be far away from the cities and it will be a long time before the radiation levels go down enough before science teams can go in for "digs". Maybe somewhere after the year 2100.
