Well... i think i blew my amp (Audioart 200x2 ) :cuss but I'm not positive. There is a light on at the moment that says PROT which is right below the power light... does anyone know what this stands for? Does anyone know how to check if the amp is blown or no good anymore? Thanks

your amp is fine you probly have some wires touching to make it freak out... be lucky it has that feature or bye bye amp... check all your wiring if thtas not the problem then re do the wiring ;)

haha yah i think it might be a fuse issue. i checked all the external fuses and they are all in tact. is there an internal fuse that i should know about somewhere? i checked all the wiriring and it all seems to be in pretty good shape. nothing touching and nothing loose. oh well... i will check out the amp sometime soon. thanks guys

MOST amps just have the external blade type fuses on the side
usually none inside but check it out

yah i took it apart today... no internal fuses that i could find. there is also a new problem... my speakers crakle in and out of phase when i turn left... and go back into phase when i turn right... im assuming the wiring has become one big cluster @#$$ behind the cd player.
