Just wondering if anyone has put some juice in their turboed car and if so how did the car respond?

No need for juice really.. Add some boost and an intercooler :thumb

For the 500 bucks you spend on juice, you can buy an upgraded turbo.

Juice it if your running 12s and need some lower times :)

Direct port is the only way to go since cylinder pressure and EGT problems are magnified exponentially when you add nitrous to boost.
With a smaller turbo you must also realize that the sudden increase of exhaust gas that exits the head will cause some trauma to a smaller turbo... ala compressor surge.

Though Nitrous plus turbos = a perfect match. The ability of nitrous to dramatically cool the intake air while at the same time increasing the amount of combustible oxygen... that?s a lot of bang for your buck that cant be touched by any 500 turbo.

There is one available within the club if youre interested.

IMO it is one of the last things you need way down the mod list considering the tuning and reliability headaches it poses. Once you get into the 60 trim type size turbos where the juice comes in handy to spool something so big.

Nitrous oxide is a great addition to any car especially a turbo car. It's also very safe when used in moderation, and installed on a car in good running condition. Unless you plan on running some giant shot on a turbo car, you cannot run a direct port system. 125 is the smallest shot you can run without dedicating a whole separate fuel system to feed the nitrous. What would be a 50 shot on most cars is probably going to make at least 75hp on a turbo car because of the cooling properties, and the fact that you'll probably see some boost creep as well. If my car responds very well to my intercooler i'll look towards stealing someones kit and trying it out on my junker.

I have the nitrous xpress incognito kit the bottle is only 1.4 lbs the jets arent that big and I never planed on pumping a big shot. Although my friend does have the intercooler sprayer kit from nitrous express and it added 50 something horse power when he had it dynoed. Thanks for all your help guys. Who has the kit for sale in the club?

Nobody has a kit for sale. It's the one i'm going to steal very shortly.
