I am workin on the A and B pillar conversion to canadian parts. I have ripped out the obnoxious auto seatbelts and replaced them with harness. Now i have weak and ugly A & B pillar....hence the need to goto the Canadain style. Anyone know the easiest way to get these parts??

Is that what it is called?????
I've gone through the same thing with my 87 Jetta. The shoulder belt was attached to the door and is very annoying. I kept seeing various Jettas at junk yards around the same year as mine, some with seat belts attached to the doors, others with it attached to the pillar behind the driver.
I thought it had to do with a certain model year switch over to the door attachment....but then I've seen a few 87 Jettas that did not have the seat belts attached to the door.
Incidently, I swapped out my seat belts for the kind that attaches to the pillar.

automatic seat belts are not legal in Canada.
