I can't wait to break in the new toys. I don't know which one I'm more giddy about.

Nice. What is the exact measurement of that lap top?
EvolvedDSM
08-12-2009, 04:20 AM
22.5cm(W) x 17.0cm(D) x 2cm~3.38cm(H) 0.99 kg
Small enough to fit under the seat, big enough to get the job done :)

How did you attach that camera to the outside of your car? The shot I liked was when it was mounted to the left where we can see you arms/steering wheel but you could not see as much of the road ahead. If it could have been mounted another foot to the left and maybe another foot higher...and maybe shoot with HD widescreen.

Sweet!! Nicely put together! I like lots of angles. Still not sure if I like the front of the roof showing that much, but it's good too. The trunk view looks the fastest for whatever reason.
That back straight was very far from being straight. Probably because of my horrible entrance. I did tap the rev limiter there a few times. The course was better than I initially thought when walking it.
Congrats on your cup holder. ;)

I like the Video, Jamie. What about incorporating still pictures into the video from the exact position on the course. Just a thought. Don't know if it's a good one or not, or even how to put it into words. Like pause the video in "Corner 2" and then have the picture from "Corner 2" come up for a few seconds and then resume the video and repeat for other still shots in other "Corners". Maybe someone that speaks English can put it a little better.

You're welcome. Small Honda's seem to do quite well...

I did something similar in the past with my first RallyX video (mainly as filler because I didn't have coverage of the entire course with the video). If I have some time, I would like to do something a little more artistic. Here is my slow driving:
