So John and I did another compression test to get a baseline before we did the oil compression deal. The results

150.150.150.150

WTF? It went from horrible to perfect in one week. Also, the smoke that was once white and plentiful is now definitely black...aka fuel. So now with 450s and -17s on the safc, im running rich. No biggie. Im not racing again this season anyway.

So I went to the dealer to get an oil filter and on the way home played a game I like to call:

WHY THE HELL WONT MY SEMI-NEW SHEPHERD TRANNY SHIFT INTO FIRST!

then moved on to level two where 2nd was a bitch to get into too.

So who will be first to list the possible causes of this.

Ahem.. *4 bolt's*... The little sucker in the back likes to work well with the little sucker in the front... if ether is looose.. guess what... :confused

Might wanna try adjusting the master clyd rod. or replace it.

werd, shep questioned me about a few things when i was having trouble. flywheel poopy, all 4 bolts have to be torqued, and check the travel of the master/slave adjustment. theres no way its the tranny.
