What is your wifes size?

My wife was only 118lbs and 5'4" when she got pregnant with our first. Doctor made her get a C section cause my kid was going to be 9lbs 8oz. She ended up only 9lb 1oz.
I remember when my second was born, we were walking down the hall, when a couple girls passed us. The one had just given birth earlier, and her friend said "I can't believe your baby was 7lbs. That's huge!" I stopped and said "7lbs?? Mine was almost 10!!"
The size of the baby means nothing. The only thing that is important, is that everyone is healthy and loved. You take care of that little gift and make sure that no matter how frustrating parenting can be, you remember to tell him that you love him!

That is my way of parenting. My daughter drives me nuts sometimes but when she goes to bed I always kiss her goodnight and tell her I love her. I love my kids and want the best for them always.

What's your definition of normal?
willyp20
10-13-2009, 01:29 PM
Well I will not have to get up at night because he will be sleeping beside our bed in his bassinet. My Wife is breast feeding so there is no requirement for me to get up considering there are no bottles to be made. That would be about as normal as it gets for us.

With all due respect. How the fuck am I going to feed him. I don't produce milk. He is not going to be bottle fed. He is going to be a titty baby. :2fingers
I got to sleep all night with our first and she was breast fed. I don't forsee this time being any different.

Wait til the first one screams and wakes up the other. The never ending chain reaction of 4:am crying is my nemesis. UGH.

Well my five year old will be sleeping upstairs in her room far enough out of screaming range. And even if he does wake her up she will go back to sleep. She doesn't cry anymore unless she doesn't want to go to bed.

Just because a baby cries doesn't mean they're hungry. You can still get titty milk out of a bottle. I hope she pumps you a few gallons and leaves you alone with both of them for a night or two :headbang

Why the fuck am I being attacked? Get off it. We have our way of living life and raising our kids. You have your way. I don't harp on you for your way so leave me the fuck alone about the way I raise mine. THANKS.

They are not attacking you. It sounds like they are just reminiscing of the pain and suffering they went through when they had newborns of sleepless nights, constant crying and poopy diapers. SUCKS to be any of you guys.

Its not you mike, It is jamie that is irritating me with his comments on how its going to be hell. It is not. My two year old slept in her own bed when she was that age and never came to our bed. Well I cant say never but when she did she went right back to hers because I did not let that trend get started. She will come down stairs every once in awhile now and will turn right back around and go back upstairs because I still do not allow it to happen. And the purpose of this is so I never got kicked or punched and always got a good night sleep.

All worth it, everyday I get to hug my kids and tell them I love them! Ya they are a pain sometimes, but that does not compare to great times we have together.
I'm sure most good father's would agree that it suck to you.
