ok well i gotta ? for ya then..im running stock fuel right now...if i take this restrictor thingy out u guys r talking bout...can i run more boost safely?..right now im running 16 and it creeps to 20 then i hit fuel cut.and i know its not healthy for the fuel pump but if i remove that restrictor, will it help me out?

It will help, but alas, you'll still need a pump.

Ken, what you're saying IS correct, but I don't think it will make as big of a difference as you may assume. The old, and I think still best philosophy after much research is that BIG pump, BIG pressure, and SMALL injector is the best combo. Someone in the area will be employing this tried and true method in the near future.

A few big things:

-The mod to replace the stock filter is about 130 bucks. you might as well just get the pump.
-Boost creep is your problem, fuel has nothing to do with that.
-Fuel cut is based a ratio being out of the ECUs interpretation of an acceptable parimeter. That is too much air to what it believes the stock system can provide... in your case the ECUs assumpption is probably right. A pump or the filter restriction has nothing to do with this either.

so in short, no... but a pump wont either.
