It's another double-header planned at NTR. AutoX on Saturday (back in my own car) and RallyX on Sunday (provided the rain doesn't soak the field). I'll be co-driving the EVO with Tim on Saturday, but there should be an open passenger seat after the first pair of runs. Also, don't miss out on Stas in an AWD version 2.0 :)

The VR4 will not make its debut this weekend thanks to a mishap in shipping of some replacement glass (amongst other things), so the EVO will be there getting dirty trying to keep up with cars with 1/3 the horsepower :bash

I'll be there for atleast one, if not both events. I really want to see some Rally, so hopefully it's not a wash out.

I got my work out in last night for that 16:1 steering ration. Also put my RE-11s back on just in case, omg after the bar cornering feels crazy compared to 175's all season continentals.

58 registered for Saturday. This has potential for a good number of runs, which should help my chances of not being beaten in my own car. I'm expecting A) an entertaining show from Stas in the RSTi and B) Sparky to pounce on the second place trophy! Some rain tomorrow and most of the day Saturday will lead to a wet course for sure :) (I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it's not too wet for Sunday...)

Tim made a good point that FWD will probably suck in the rain, so now it is a confirmed AWD battle in SMS. I'll try to keep the Subaru dominance alive.

The chance and duration of the rain just took a dump while today's forecasted temperature rose. This should lead to a partially wet Saturday and moist Sunday, which means a weekend of fun. (I'll leave it up to Stas for some crude comment ;))

The RallyX registration looks light as well, but there are some names missing online that are owed a credit from the last event. I still predict 8 runs provided the course is up to it :)

You better make it out as these are the last events of the year!

It looks like Aaron and Simi are going to be abusing Tim's blue Subaru on Sunday. I can only hope I can show them who's boss on the dirt ;)

It looks like the rain will be done by lunch today with clear skies and zero chance of rain the rest of the weekend. We're scheduled to hit the pavement first this morning. (I would guess three runs then and another set of runs in the afternoon.) Put on the appropriate costume and get the hell out there!

Big thanks to no one coming out on Saturday for some amazing experiences on course. You missed Stas still trying to overcome the laws of physics in an AWD, Sparky tearing it up and walking away with his trophy and some D1 skillz by yours truly.

Today's going to start chilly, but the sun will be out with no chance of rain. The field looked muddy in spots when I drove by last night. I hope the time and weather have allowed it to dry out somewhat and provide a decent surface to drive on :)

Another big thanks to NO ONE for coming out to support my first class win (third overall) at RallyX today. You cock suckers missed out on 5 runs during the slightly sloppy morning and an incredible 10 runs on a near-perfect surface this afternoon. The course was FINALLY designed to be advantageous to turbo cars.

This was a great way to end the season. Although I (think I) ended up second in class overall in both AutoX and RallyX, I'll take the two first place finishes to get me through the winter and as motivation for 2010. Fuck you very much :freak

I'm leaving the dirt tires on and going to perform some landscaping at your house tomorrow!

You could have taken them out to National Trails and dumped them over in the trees. Or like in baja racing, use them to hide a homemade jump on the rally course. Of course, you probably would have had a hard time building a jump.... lol
