Okay this is for all you elcetronic guru's. I am tryign to find schematics to convert a standard AT computer power supply to a 12 DC in put power supply. I wish I could remember half the stuff Iforggot after graduation but I'm brain dead.

What I want to do is build a car pc and I need a power supply. I got just about everythign else figured out. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

40 dollar power inverter should work out for ay...thats what i have running my laptop...power and ground and your straight

I have one and it should work fine. The part that worries me is how is this going to effet the elce. system in teh car? With an LCD screen, GPS, FM Tuner, TV VIVO Card, and the amps, I am oing have to look into a second battery I think. I don't know if the powere supply will help that or not. Thanks for the reply though chad.
