Ok, trying to install the gauges now, I know where all the connections are I need to make, but I dont see the ECU to tap into the O2 sensor wire. I thought the ECU was in the center counsel behind the radio. But I dont see an ECU, just a bunch of connections of wires, is this what Im looking for? I will keep looking but help would be appreciated. (I hate automotive electrical systems) lol :(

It's actually in the engine bay for the NT. I think behind the driver's headlight assembly.

man that bolt that holds the cover on the ECU wires is a pain to get off. Im thinking about unplugging the ECU to get to the wire, will this cause any problem when I first start the car after plugging it back in? Will the ECU have to re-learn or whatever?

You don't need to remove the ecu. Just unplug the connector (it's best to disconnect the battery negative first) so that you can pick out the wire that you need. When you reconnect the battery and ecu, the car might not want to start or it might studder a little, and that's normal.

is a 97 GS ECU interchangable with a 95 RS? (both have auto trannys).

no. 95 = obd 1, 96-99 = obd 2
