where seems to be the ideal place to put an SAFC in a 2G automatic?? I looked around and all I came up with was the armrest with the removable cup holder. Any place to put it where it's hidden but viewable when nessacary. Like in my Lude it's behind a tray from an accord below my radio that you can open when you wanna see it or close to hide it. Any such tricks for 2G's. I know my friend wants to ditch the double din CD player any ideas with a single din maybe??? Just wondering, thanks :)

Hmm... I seem to be having the same problem with my AFC... I don't want it in full view of the people that like to break into my cars.. But with my touchy proximity (sp.?) sensor on my alarm, i think im just gonna go with right on the dash, but with velcro... I go to Grove Tucky a lot not and it would NOT be safe up there.... :cuss

I have mine mounted in plain view. The way I see it, I have full coverage, so if someone steals it, I have it covered. If it's covered, I'll get the new afc2. Either way, the alarm on a 2g is OBNOXIOUS. If anyone breaks into one, they're in for a loud surprise.

i think if you put it right up next to the sunroof controls it looks sweet and if you do it right you wont be able to see it from the outside :) not my idea something this guy did at norwalk

get rid of the factory stereo...get a single DIN-sized head unit....mount the AFC below it
