took out the relay for the flip on the headlights and i have a set of catz xld dual driving lights that i want to wire up in the headlights place. i want to either buy new clear plastic pieces for the headlights to shine through or replace them with plexi...might have to be thick plexi due to the heat issue...nothing ricey i just need good lights as i cannot see at night. i also have a new set of catz msx driving lights that will be used for fogs too...i like to see where i am going at night...so the plexi would be what...2" tall and 12" long...any suggestions?

i would think plexi(even thick) will melt under heat...it might just take longer buy where the light beam actully hits the plexi will begin to look like a bubble working its awy out side....

i could be wrong on all this but its what i think

lexan on the other hand....http://www.gelexan.com/gelexan/ i do blievie could stand up to the heat...but is alot more expensive....

well what can i do in the mean time? if i buy the factory plastic strips (that the light shiens through) will be clear enough? i dont care about seeing the fixtures or anything i just cant see at night and i want way way better lights than i already have in the car. in other words i need to figure out something to do to get this rolling...

well...are the driving lights ment to be "all weather"?

can they take rain and snow and all the goods of the messed up ohio climate?..b/c if they can...then why not leave them open and not put a lense...allthought by doing that you would leave your lights drone to rocks and birds and such...

just an idea!

yea it would look pretty goofy.....but if you can get a hold of some extra stock lenses....could you maybe like dremil it flat and smooth(the inside)and then maybe it would clear?i dont know :confused
