Sparky,
Have you finalized the final design for the GVR4? We need a best in show! The engine should be out of the bay this weekend so you can climb inside for detailing.

I don't post here nearly as much, but now that I'm back in a Pseudo DSM I don't feel quite like the guy in the back of the room with an awkward boner. A good number of members here are members elsewhere on a Columbus forum. A couple of us over there threw this together kinda quickly. but check this out and let me know if you'd like to attend. PM me or shoot me a text at 614-537-5688
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
(This is how our class will be announced.)
CR Stock Bruh- Brought to you by Boost Performance Autosports and Haus of Powder
This will be a Heads-Up Eliminator style class. Expected E.T.'s will go from 11.5-13.5
This class is for CR members only. While not officially a Columbus Racing event This class is specifically for us.
We will get our own lane for Staging, you can also run in the Test n Tune class as well. This way you can get as many runs as possible.
We'd like to pit everyone together and make a day of it. Whether you are racing or not. There will be several Grills there, so bring food and your own drinks etc.
Trash talking will be aplenty through the day. Keep it friendly, but keep it reel. Mostly because that's the best chance Josh has against myself.
When you post to confirm please specify if you are racing or spectating. Josh (alittlelessordinary) will edit post #1 to update the names racing and spectating.
Rules/Guidelines:
General NHRA Rules and Guidelines will be in effect at the discression of the Track Officials. ( I'm gonna say don't ask Don't tell.) We have no control over this. We ask that your car is safe to run. Nobody wants track delays and accidents we're here to have fun.
PAYOUTS - Entry is $25.00 to Race, $15.00 to spectate.
This is a 100% payback to the Racers. You pay your entry at the gate, at the end of the day what ever we paid in towards the class will get dispersed back out to you. I believe they will give the money back on the spot when we do the class winners.
As a bonus BPA and Haus will put up $25.00 each for credit towards Services performed by each respective Sponsor to the class winner. It's a little thank you for running and repping us.
CLASS SUMMARY
Heads-Up,Sportsman Tree (.500) class. for naturally aspirated, and Forced Inducted street driven, Domestic and Imported Vehicles. This will be run as a 16 car field (if enough people show up) Current tags/registration. Three qualifying passes permitted.

This was started sorta as a joke because of how the other rules classify some members cars my self included. They end up in classes where they wouldn't stand a chance, and won't get many runs in. This is being set up to get in some track time, have fun, and be social. I would say if you can control them bring the family. Personally mine will be there to watch, and have a good time.
General good Social Skills we be required. Sorry if you can't handle being in public, and not being a douche. This should be able to go unsaid, but we know how people can be. You will be told if you are acting out of line.
I've taken care of the little work with the race promoter, we're on the ticket, just want to make sure there is a decent group there for a good time.
And yes I will make full a full pass unlike at the shootout in the Summit.

Ugh, don't you have like a 5 second DSM or something? You're not allowed past third gear.
You sure?
:headbang
I couldn't help but put that in. I get so pissed off when I go out to meets or whatever and people forget how to act. Since I'd like for everyone to pit as close as possible together and make it a party of sorts between rounds, and keep it semi-family safe.
Like I said before this was thrown together last minute, and I have never done this before. So hopefully it won't be a total failboat. I'll have the remainder of the details later tonight.

I was more saying that Mike may have a hard time meeting the criteria. :)
I'm all about partying and having fun at the track. Hell, our race team has quite a reputation around NHRA Division 7, between partying until about 3 am and keeping other racers awake at the divisional and national races here in Vegas this past April, making kick-ass BBQ at the Fallon divisional in June, to kicking down the front gate, planking on a port-o-let, and more drunken debauchery at the Sonoma divisional and national events about a month ago, everyone seems to know who we are. lol And the scary thing is, everybody LOVES us!

Gotcha,;) but I'm old and ricers piss me off. General debauchery I'm down for.

Yep, me too. That's why I'm glad I'm not doing the import racing thing and gotten back into traditional NHRA racing. And the fact that our driver is only 23 and started in junior dragters, he brings all the hot, young chicks around, and no ricer types in sight. :) Well, until we get locked out of the sleeper so he and whoever the girl is at the time can have a "talk." lol That's not so much fun.
