View Full Version : alternator checked and...--also plug wires popping off

it showed to be just fine... it was putting out 12.9-13.3v usually it would be around 14 but high means bad so i figured and they said it was fine.

now i stil have the E-brake,coolant, and battery light on (on brand new batt.) every now and then my anti lock brake light comes on and i can feel it kick in when i hit the brake then itll turn off.

also my spark plug wires tend to pop off this only has happend 3 times, but its sucks when that happens the engine lights comes on for about a day then will shut off does this damage much? is there a way to get them to stay on?

get some new wires and plugs. see if any of your alternator wires are touching something. mine did the same thing one time and i had a wire touching my exhast.

my wires are less than 2 weeks old

return them. autozone wont complain if you tell them what you problem is. that is if you got them from az

no i got them at pep boys.....that is the LEAST of my problems though

call a priest and have an exorcism done on that car.
