I have no problem with it. It's not like the Iraqis treated their prisoners by the Geneva Convention rules. I have a problem with whoever releases the photos to the public. There should have been stricter security on making sure the photos never got out. We should have never known about this. It's a sloppy way to run a military. I understand the concept of taking the naked pictures and threatening to show the photos to their families to entice them to give up information. I would have just attached jumper cables to their balls.

Now, the Guantamino Bay (spelling?) prisoners are NOT prisoners of war. There was never a "war" declared against the country of Afganistan. We were just there to take out some thug terrorists. Those prisoners are "enemy combatants" and are not covered under the Geneva Convention. Once again there should have never been any information about these prisoners made public. We shouldn't have known where they were being held. Those prisoners shouldn't "exist". More sloppiness by the military.

Didn't anyone learn anything from the Nazis?????

eye for an eye is so..... Babylonia circa 1780 BC. One would hope that we've risen above that in 3700 years.

If we say "we'll y'all A-rabs didnt follow that there GenEEva Convention International Code of Law, why thu hell should we?" Then they will make an even more obvious retaliation against international law.

Not only that, it sets a dangerous precident for future POWs. If the "Most Civilized Nation in the World" isnt expected to play by the rules... why should the lil guy.

Every being in the universe knows right from wrong. Let me tell you something. You humans, most of you, subscribe to this policy of an eye for an eye, a life for a life, which is known throughout the universe for its... stupidity.
Even your Buddha and your Christ had quite a different vision. But nobody's paid much attention to them, not even your Buddhists and your Christians. The point is that the universe will expand, then it will collapse back on itself, then will expand again. It will repeat this process forever. What you don't you know is that when the universe expands again, everything will be as it is now. Whatever mistakes you make this time around, you will live through on your next pass. Every mistake you make, you will live through again, & again, forever. So my advice to you is to get it right this time around. Because this time is all you have. And we shouldn't act as fools, or make mistakes that will in the future come back at us. I understand that there are casualties in war. But as you said there is no reason to put it on the Internet, to gallivant around saying we are the strongest, and measuring the size of our bolocks. Think of this, it took a man crashing 2 planes into 2 buildings and killing thousands, for Americans to finally become patriotic. To me that is wrong. All I'm saying is this war should be over. Sadam is gone, and it wasn't even him who attacked us. But still it should be over. I don't know what else to say. Sorry if you read this entire thing and don't understand any of it. Hell I don't but it made me feel better saying it. Peace, Love, and Prosperity.

I am not saying that we should openly violate the Geneva Convention. I'm saying that if we do, then no one should know about it outside of the ones doing it. I say we should use whatever means possible to get information out of the prisoners. And when we are done with them, make them disappear. We wouldn't want them coming back and retaliating against us.

Let me start by saying that I'm not into politics, nor am I a military man, but the photos (what they show and tell the world) are big blows to U.S. credibility as humanitarians. I also believe the photos also further enrage anti-American groups, as well as, foreign U.S. supporters. Most importantly, I believe the way those Iraqi prisoners were "mistreated" will also gravely endanger American soldiers overseas, and it will probably prompt more terrorist attacks at the homeland. Certain groups have already vowed a Shihad (sp?) against the U.S.
