how to clean...

i am doing a turbo swap and the new turbo i got had no ex housing..i have one but would like to clean a bit...has a little crust on the walls and black....what is the best way to clean this off? without rusting of course...

is it dirty inside the housing or on the outside?

inside the housing is a bit crusty...no "floaters" but i would like to clean for piece of mind...

if its dirty inside the ex. housing, then jst port all of it away :thumb

dont want to port...just replace the factory that i have and run till i can get whole new setup...more for experience now anyway...is there anything i can use around here at the shop for a "quick" clean?

brake parts cleaner?? it's just an exhaust manifold, it'll get sooty in like 2 seconds after install
