got my afc all wired in except the throtle position wire....which wire is it on the afc????.....it turns on and acts like its doing something to my setup, but none of the conditions will save when i turn the car off....i hooked up my o2 wire and it doesnt read anything...the karmen frequency stays at 3Hz...and my check engine light stays on nomatter how i adjust it....could all this be caused by not having the throttle position sensor wired in??? its really irritating me and i want to quit :cuss .....if anyone would like to look and see if i did it right you are more than welcome to at the next meeting....or even at the rice mart....tuning help is wanted too....money can always be involved if its needed

i just went back to apexi's website and snooped around some more.....i think i used the wiring diagram for a map sensor car.......i found the one for the karman sensor and i'm gonna check for differences tomorrow

yeah you definitely wired it wrong.

Just use the VFAQ man. It cant be any simpler than having a diagram of your ECU with arrows showing what to solder where.

i printed out the ecu diagram....i have the right pin outs.....just the wrong wires from the afc

don't feel bad...I wired mine wrong as well the first time....the key words here are "KARMEN TYPE"

now i start blowing all these fuses....my running lights fuse blows everyday, the headlights still work but no running or dash lights....ABS light came on tonight and wouldnt go off even after a shut down and restart...door locks and dome light dont work either....lots of little things that i dont need to worry about.....my main concern is the running lights, the only things i have hooked up to the dash lights are my disco light, and the backlight for my boost guage, and 2 red hyper LEDs.....its the tail light fuse under the hood that keeps blowing...none of my bulbs or sockets are bad...water sometimes gets in the housing after washing it but it wouldnt be causing this 4 days after i washed her.....but the brake lights and turn signals still work!!!!!WTF is going on :cuss....i'm gonna replace all fuses and bulbs to see if that will do anything...if not i've got something serious
