How do I do this? My car is currently up on blocks getting alot done, so I figured while i am tearing into it I might as well do this since I am gonna be putting a new clutch in this winter too.

Does anyone have a spring compressor that I can borrow or rent to put on my sportlines??

Auto Zone for the spring compressor.. its like $40, but when you return it they return the cash to your card

pm your friendly mike black for the cw measure and i have a spring compressor, any mc phearson strut compressor will work if you get impatient ;) ..i've done it like 8 times but wont have any free time to help right now, wifey is pissed but i have been away from home quite often this last week..damn dsm's and now damned nissans w there stupid alternator failures...dsm will be running tomorrow but isnt a big fan of snow..o well, at least the heater works

auto zone rents???????.......i called today they said they cant rent me out a engine hoist arrrggg

CW measuring i used one of those calipers. bought it at jegs 50$ used it returned it so i used their renting service :thumb
calipers ARE NOT the most accurate way.

Mr. Black no longer has the CW measuring tool. You will have to look elsewhere.

yes, he is entering the world of denial. My car runs, so it doesn't have cw. :)
