I got the TCU i ordered and this one only has 2 plugs in the side, the one i pulled out of my car has 3. So i opened mine up and it has a copassator that is all black on the bottom, and the other side of the board looks like a hole was burnt thru it. So i know i need a new TCU.

Heres the problem, the TCU was pulled from a tallon and this is a laser, the only think i can think of is mabey the tallon was AWD or turbo, but he says it wasnt, but he hasnt been online since i pulled mine out

Could it be a transmission computer for an auto?

are the 2 the same size boxes and all? The only reason I ask is that the ECU has 3 plugs and maybe you pulled the ECU instead of the TCU out of your car.

I wondered that too for a sec but no i found a site that sells both ecu's and tcu's and both part numbers for each box are under tcu, and im not sure my car would even run if i had a hole burnt thru the bord on my ecu.

at the bottom under TCU's i have a MD750525 in my laser, and i bought a MD754079, from a talon.

Well, My car doesn't run without the trans computer, thats what i need and i have no clue where to get another except for a JY and i have no ide where one is by me. i think its in the city. but anyway u said your car runs without the comp? and if anyone has any info on where to get a tranny comp for and auto 1991 eclipse gs email me shesaftame14@optonline.net
