Sup, guys!
I have prokits sitting on 18 x 7.5 inch rims, and aligned the car a few days ago. The readouts were

left front;-1 right front;-1.5
left rear;-1.4 right rear;-2.3

The guy at the alignment shop told me I just need to add 1 or more washer on the right rear (I did $15 camber mod with 4 washers). He told me that the fronts are a little bit out of factory spec, but since the toe was set right, and the front wheels are moving a lot, I really don't need to get a camber kit. He said I just need to rotate the wheels often.

Is he correct or bull-shitting?
somebody said prokits do require the front camber kit if the wheels are 18s???

Thanks in advance.

I have 225/40 tires on my 18's and my rear camber was horrid. A simple camber kit like you did works fine for the rear. When i first bought the car and went to put new tires on my camber wear on the rears was like 50% bald and 50% tred. On the fronts it was pretty much even except for like a 1/2". I still haven't done a front kit and its not biggie since i rotate my tires. It wouldn't hurt to do a front one but isn't a necessity.

Factory spec on the rear's is like -1.67 degrees.

I've got -1.5 degrees (not sure on factory specs) on the fronts with no problems. Negative camber helps you take corners faster.

(Those degree marks I just gave you are not how far off from spec they are but what the actual measurements are)

Camber doesn't kill tires (make them go bald on the edges) - it's the toe-in/toe-out that kills the tire treads.

60 bucks for an alignment is cheaper than 2 new tires.
