Anybody see the commerical for this? I just looked on www.scifi.com for it.

It looks like there is a spinoff of Stargate SG-1. This is the first time I have heard of this. I rarely ever visit that website. This doesn't mean the end of SG-1 but I am sure this next season or the one after will be the last one. It's been on for years - was on HBO for the first 3 years I think. It's about time to end that show - getting old.

The "Atlantis" show is an all new cast of people. It's a tangential spin off from the SG-1 show from the discovery of that "place" in Antarctica in the very last show of the last season ("Lost City, Part 2")

SG-1 just finished it's 7th season. The 8th season starts in July. We will have a full 2 hours every Friday night of Stargate shows (at least for the next year until SG-1 eventually ends its run).
