Crushing 1G BOV

Ok this maybe a stupid question, but what is the best way to crush the 1G BOV?

Good question. I have the HKS BOV and it's a pain in the ass. It flutters like a fuckin bastard, I hate it. I want to go back to the 1G but the HKS holds much steady and solid boost.

Put it in a vise and crush it SLOWLY and check it incrementally with a hand pump to see what vacuum it's opening up at and all is still good.

It usually ends up that the vacuum nipple is not quite touching the base, but each valve is slightly different, so check your progress.

Another (and in my opinion, better) option would be to modify the valve like Dejon used to do by drilling a side port and plugging the bottom port. I'd definitely recommend that over crushing it.
