I've been using Video Studio, but have been told that Adobe After Effects is great, too. The only thing about After Effects is that it's a bitch to figure out. I've had it for a year, and have messed with it and can't figure out how to use it. I need to mess with it more, I guess.

i always used adobe premiere but that was when the school flipped the bill to buy the 700 some dollar program (<im sure they got a discount but you get the idea)
the easiest vid. program i have ever used was imovie, so simple, so neat, so easy. that is if you have a mac. you could try and see if it's available for windows, i suppose its possible.

use premiere. Sometimes you can find it in a bundle for free if you dont have a capture card already. Its what I used to do the ImportCarEnthusiast cable shows and worked great for that. Only problem I ever had that wasnt my fault was the 2 gig file restriction (which I think is more of an OS problem) when dumping back to a master which worked out to about 9 minutes of footage. I just cut the show into a couple segments where it wasnt noticable. There is a guy teaching good but cheap video classes that you can go to where you can probably find someone willing to "loan" a copy or sell a used copy plus pick up all kinds of useful info and contact if you are serious about your videos. His website is http://www.sonnyboo.com/ and looking at his calendar it looks like he is still teaching locally.
